This brooch comes with two different frames that can be interchanged.

"The shapes in this brooch stem from a study of the hydrangea seed pod. The dimension created by combining textured and smooth surfaces along with the design variations among the shapes creates a sense of organic architecture. The shapes grow out of systems that respond to their environment. The connected shapes intentionally lay differently on each brooch fixture to
highlight that the moveability of the surface allows it to respond flexibly to the shape of different fixtures. Much like how humans can demonstrate resilience in our responses to intense, challenging and beautiful environments.
